The required funds will automatically be paid out of available funds at the time of payment. The expected payment date is no sooner than seven days before the product is released. (For bundles with different product release dates, payment will be processed no sooner than seven days before the first product release.)
If funds are insufficient at the time of payment, the remaining amount will be added to your funds using the payment method you have set and payment will be carried out. If Available Funds is selected and there are sufficient funds, then payment will be carried out.
If the total pre‑order amount exceeds the maximum limit of available funds ($200.00), then automatic payment cannot be carried out. If there are multiple pre‑orders with the same date of payment, then payment will be made only for the pieces that can be paid for. The order of payments cannot be designated.
The payment method can be changed at any time by selecting Shop Menu from your Nintendo Account settings, or under Account Information on Nintendo eShop on your device.
The payment method you set will also be used when making auto-renewal payments.
Customers under 18 years old may not set a payment method. The required funds will automatically be paid out of available funds at the time of payment.
Payment is processed and download is started immediately for pre‑orders placed within seven days before game launch. Depending on conditions of the server, etc., it is possible that payment is carried out later than the anticipated date of payment. UNLESS REQUIRED BY LAW, ALL PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, AND PRODUCTS MAY NOT BE RETURNED OR EXCHANGED.
You may cancel your pre‑orders up until time of payment.
You can check the product's expected payment date by selecting Shop Menu in your Nintendo Account settings then selecting Your Pre-orders, or via Your Pre‑orders under Account Information on Nintendo eShop on your device.
Payment will be processed based on the price when you pre‑ordered the product. Some discounts, such as an owner discount, may depend on holding a certain product at the time of payment. Depending on discounts and availability of special offers, canceling your pre-order may disrupt your ability to purchase or pre‑order the software at the same discounted price and/or your ability to receive special offers.
You can cancel pre-orders by selecting Shop Menu in your Nintendo Account settings then selecting Your Pre-orders, or by selecting Your Pre-orders in Account Information on Nintendo eShop on your device.
Regarding Gold Points
You cannot designate which points you use for pre-order. If you select Use Points, points held at time of payment are used in their entirety up to the purchase price.
Even if you select Use Points, the amount of points used may not be reflected in the price displayed at time of pre-order.
In the following cases, you cannot receive special offers or Gold Points for pre-ordered products:
・ If you cancel a pre-order; or
・ If you cannot make a payment for your pre-ordered product because of insufficient funds.
Messages related to pre‑orders will be sent to the e‑mail address registered on the relevant Nintendo Account. For child accounts, messages will be sent to the e‑mail address of the parent/guardian (family admin).
If there are important changes related to pre‑ordered products (including a significant delay in the release date), announcements will be made either on Nintendo eShop or via e‑mail.
It is possible that information related to the game, including ratings and download size, might not be finalized at the time of pre‑order. For the most recent information, please review the product's details page.
If you have pre‑ordered a product, you may not change the country/region of your Nintendo Account. To change it, you must first cancel all pre‑ordered products.
If the content above is changed, announcements will be made either on Nintendo eShop or via e‑mail.
