Papercraft Tactics

Nintendo Switch

A grid-inventory roguelike where you rotate and wire items together. Connect wands, potions, and swords to trigger automated, chain-reaction combat.

Arrange, rotate, and link weapons, potions, and magical wands on a grid to align inputs and outputs. When a turn starts, your backpack comes alive: links fire, effects cascade, and your custom combos automatically fill the action queue. Draft new items, manage deep elemental resistances, and nudge the battlefield with tactical card plays in a charming, cosy paper-theatre world. Key Features The Living Backpack: Your inventory is your build. Rotate and position items to connect green inputs and yellow outputs, forging automated synergies. Chain-Reaction Combat: At the start of your turn, linked items trigger sequentially to execute actions (Attack, Block, InflictEffect) without hidden rules. Tactical Card Play: Don't just watch. Play clutch, limited-use cards mid-turn to manipulate the queue—double a hit, purge a debuff, or force an instant trigger. Draft & Adapt: Build around distinct hero passives and draft unique scaling or mimic items to counter shifting enemy resistance profiles. Paper-Theatre Aesthetic: Lose yourself in a warm, handmade world featuring hand-drawn cut-out characters and cosy stage lighting.
