The Hero of Destiny was killed by the final boss

Nintendo Switch

8 NPCs = 1 Hero

What happens if The Hero of Destiny is defeated by the Final Boss? Even the 7 Legendary weapons were not enough to defeat The Dark Wizard. With the Hero gone, is there anyone left to save the land of Alta? Just outside the final dungeon is the sleepy town of Meloda, where 50 NPCs decide that maybe they should try to defeat the final boss. With no real weapons, no armor, no magic, and no combat ability, these NPCs must find a way to slog through the final dungeon, defeat hordes of end game enemies, and defeat the powerful final boss! Each NPC has a unique set of weapons and skills that may be useful in some niche way. Sure, they may not have swords, shields, and magic, but they do have pitchforks and stones to throw! Explore the final continent, discover the lore of the land of Alta, and build a team of 8 members to try to finish the adventure where The Hero of Destiny left off. Be careful! If a party member is defeated, their death is permanent. You have 50 NPCs to try and defeat the final boss with. You may find certain characters have a particular ability that will help deal with troublesome enemies, so plan out your path through the final dungeon carefully. Level up your characters, weapons, and equipment, then challenge the Battle Coliseum to see how many enemies you can defeat with your team. Will you succeed where The Hero of Destiny failed? 8 NPCs might just equal 1 Hero.
