If the final age rating does not match the set Parental Controls on the payment and download date, Nintendo will cancel the pre-order.

If spending restrictions in the Nintendo Account Parental Controls settings were not applied or were temporarily disabled at the time of pre-order, then payment for pre-ordered products will not be prevented even if spending restrictions settings are changed, newly applied or reapplied before the payment and download date for the pre-order. If you would like to make sure that payment for a pre-order is not processed, you must manually cancel the pre-order before the payment and download date. Pre-orders can be cancelled from Pre-Orders in Funds and Payment Methods in the Nintendo Account settings for the account that was used to place the pre-order.
