Robin Hood's daily routine is interrupted by the arrival of a foreign messenger announcing a tournament hosted by the enigmatic Duke DeMontfort.
Robin Hood and his companion Marian are wary of the Duke's true intentions, remembering the lessons of the past and the threats that threaten their people. As the details of the tournament are revealed, Robin and Marian decide that they must enter, not for the prizes, but to investigate the Duke's hidden intentions. Along with their faithful band of outlaws, which includes characters such as Little John and Much the Miller, they prepare for what promises to be more than just a competition.
