Alternatively, released courses will also be playable for no additional charge for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members. ・ If you're playing via a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, only Nintendo Accounts on your console with an active membership will be able to access Booster Course Pass contents. ・ If you purchase the Booster Course Pass on Nintendo eShop, only the Nintendo Account that was used to purchase the pass will be able to play it on consoles that are not set as the primary console for your Nintendo Account. ・ The courses included in this DLC cannot be purchased individually. ・ In order to use this DLC, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (sold separately) is required. ・The course "Sky-High Sundae" will be made available in the smart device app Mario Kart Tour at a later date.
Even if you haven't purchased the Mario Kart™ 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass or a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership, you can still try out the courses if you play with friends who have access to the Booster Course Pass. Additionally, starting on 22/03/2022, courses included in the Booster Course Pass will appear in the Random selection when playing Global or Regional races with anyone online.
