Backrooms Phases

Nintendo Switch

Wander through the shifting phases of the Backrooms. Solve puzzles, avoid twisted entities, and find a way out before the corridors close in on you forever.

You noclipped out of reality. Now you are standing in a yellow corridor that stretches further than it should. The lights buzz. The carpet is damp. There is no way back. BACKROOMS PHASES takes you deeper into the Backrooms than you have ever been. Each phase warps the world around you — familiar halls fracture into something darker, stranger, and far more hostile. Something here has gone through phases of its own. The entities that roam these corridors were not always what they are now. They shifted. They changed. And what they became is worse. HAND-CRAFTED ENTITIES Every creature in the game was designed and modeled from scratch. No templates, no recycled assets. Each entity has a distinct silhouette, behavior pattern, and reason to terrify you. ATMOSPHERIC SOUND DESIGN Footsteps echo wrong. Doors creak behind you. Sometimes the fluorescent hum stops — and the silence is worse. Sound is your only warning system. Use headphones. PUZZLES UNDER PRESSURE Locked passages, hidden tools, multi-step objectives. You will need to search, think, and act while something is hunting you. The Backrooms do not wait. PHASE-BASED PROGRESSION Each phase changes the rules. New environments, new threats, new ways to die. The deeper you go, the less this place resembles anything real. From the creators of BACKROOMS INSIDE THE ESCAPE. The next descent is here.
