◇ ‘What is “Muv-Luv Unlimited: The Day After”?’ A spin-off title of the Muv-Luv series, following on from ‘Muv-Luv’ and ‘Muv-Luv Alternative’. The third title in a spin-off series originating from “Muv-Luv Unlimited”, which diverges into a different future from the anime-adapted “Muv-Luv Alternative.” After protagonist Shirogane Takeru sees the heroine’s escape from Earth in “Muv-Luv Unlimited”, the story depicts those left behind on Earth who nonetheless continue to fight against their doom. ◇ Story To address the food shortage that had been destabilising Seattle, the Empire began building a food production plant. However, on its first day of operation, the facility was seized by unknown assailants, and Supreme Commander Koubuin Yuuhi went missing. To rescue the Commander and eliminate the terrorists, Hibiki’s War Dog Squad stormed the plant, now a full-scale battlefield.
