Ladies and gents, we bring you the pinnacle of human-powered transport tech: the all-terrain bike! Your trusty BMX is just a button press away, any time. Zip around the map faster, access new areas, chuck it at enemies, and pull off sick bike tricks for bonuses. Slice and dice your enemies with the classic machete or blast ’em with the Kid’s turbo-charged Turbo Glove™. Turbo Blast, electric shocks, circular saws… use the full arsenal to slash, tear apart, or blow your enemies into ridiculous, over-the-top pixel gore splashes! A BMX-powered pixel-art metroidvania gore-fest inspired by the film Turbo Kid. The story kicks off right after the movie ends. Along your journey, you’ll meet some weird and wild characters — mates, foes, and those in-between — who’ll offer advice, quests, fights, and jokes (lots of ’em) in a heartfelt and hilarious tale created with the filmmakers. Explore different zones and take down bosses in whatever order you fancy. Make choices that shape the story, giving you multiple playthroughs with different paths and endings. If you’re just here for the gameplay (speedrunners, we see you), all dialogue can be skipped. Plenty of cutscenes can be ignored if you’re not up for ’em.
