If there is not enough free space available, you can delete unnecessary software or insert a microSD card with enough space.
Note: Nintendo Switch 2 is only compatible with microSD Express cards.
Depending on when a pre-order is made, it may be the case that information such as the age rating and required space for the software is not yet available or final.

If the final age rating does not match the set Parental Controls on the payment and download date, Nintendo will cancel the pre-order.

If spending restrictions in the Nintendo Account Parental Controls settings were not applied or were temporarily disabled at the time of pre-order, then payment for pre-ordered products will not be prevented even if spending restrictions settings are changed, newly applied or reapplied before the payment and download date for the pre-order. If you would like to make sure that payment for a pre-order is not processed, you must manually cancel the pre-order before the payment and download date. Pre-orders can be cancelled from Pre-Orders in Purchase History in the Nintendo Account settings for the account that was used to place the pre-order.
